A Tribute to Kishore Kumar





Kishore Kumar is one of the most versatile performing artists of India. He is one of Bollywood’s most celebrated singers of all time. He was born on 4th August, 1929 and died on 13th October, 1987. He was a Bengali and his mother tongue was Bangla. 



Google has published its Google Doddle today the 4th August on his auspicious birth day of the versatile performing artist and great singer of all time in India, Kishor Kumar. 



He was at a time a playback singer, actor, lyricist, composer, producer, director, screenplay writer and scriptwriter. He is the most successful playback singer of Indian film industry. He sang in different Indian languages that includes Bengali, Hindi, Marathi, Assamese, Gujarati, Kannada, Bhojpuri, Malayalam, Oriya and Urdu. He achieved 8 (eight) “Filmfare Awards” for Best Male Playback Singer and is the most Filmfare Award winner in this category. He was also awarded the “Lata Mangeshkar Award” by the Madhya Pradesh Government. And afterward the Madhya Pradesh Government introduced a new award in his name i.e. “Kishor Kumar Award” for contribution to Hindi cinema. 



We pay tribute to this great singer of all time on his birthday the 4th August.
